POL prices revision approved


SLAMABAD: Ministry of finance Sunday approved the revision in petroleum products’ prices, which said that the price of petrol has been slashed by Rs2.09 and that of diesel increased by Rs3.16 per litre effective from tomorrow.
MoF sources said that the prices of kerosene have been increased by Rs1.92 and light diesel by Rs1.23 per litre.
Following the revision in prices from tomorrow, petrol will be available at the new price of Rs103.40 per litre, diesel at Rs113.62 per litre, kerosene at Rs103.87 per litre and light diesel at Rs97.93 per litre.
CNG price is also expected to lower in the range of Rs1.50 to Rs2.00 per kilo, as its price is correlated with that of petrol.
The new prices will be effective from tomorrow after OGRA’s notification.
