Ballot papers to be distributed under army supervision: ECP


ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan met Fakhruddin G Ibrahim in the chair on Monday, Geo News reported.
The ECP decided that distribution of ballot papers for the upcoming general election would be carried out under the supervision of the army.
The ECP meeting was briefed about the arrangements regarding the next general election. The meeting was told that printing of the ballot papers would be protected like that of currency notes and payment of Rs30 million had also been made for the purpose.
The meeting was further told that the by-elections held after July this year were conducted on new electoral rolls and no complaint was received over the new voter lists.
