Only fifteen days after Wali Babar's killing, Rajab Bangali, who was said to be an important name in the case, was taken out on January 31, 2011.
Naveed Tanoli was murdered on March 6, 2011. He was the brother of SHO Shafiq Tanoli who had rounded up the accused in Wali's case.
A policeman named Arshad Kundi, who was part of the team probing the case, was slain on March 20, 2011. As if this was not enough for the murderers, they went ahead and also killed his gunman Faisal Tanoli on December 11, 2011
