Sheikhupura Interchange reopens as visibility improves

LAHORE: The motorway section from Thokar Niaz Baig to Sheikhupura Interchange has reopened after the fog has started to disappear, resulting in improved visibility Thursday, Geo News reported. According to motorway police, thick fog had covered the motorway that increased in the morning and reduced the visibility to zero. However, the motorway was reopened for traffic after few hours when the haze started to settle down. Long queues of vehicles were witnessed soon after the closure and the commuters resumed their journey after the motorway police allowed traveling.
