Hashmi for independent accountability commission

MULTAN:Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Javed Hashmi has called for an independent commission for accountability of generals and politicians, Geo News reported on Sunday.
Speaking to media at his residence, Hashmi advised Asif Ali Zardari, Mian Nawaz Sharif and their parties not to take part in election until and unless they got themselves cleared of all the allegations.
The veteran politician said that upcoming election would decide country’s fate and rigging would not help strengthen it.
Hashmi claimed that he was the single politician being exonerated by the court in connection with the Asghar Khan case while names of Navid Qamar, Chaudhry Nisar, Abdul Sattar Lalika and Humayun Akhtar were also included in the case.
He demanded that an interim government be put in place. The PTI leader said that there was no ‘cold war’ between the Chief Justice of Pakistan and Chief of the Army Staff.
