Five killed in Karachi firing, violence incidents


KARACHI: Five persons have been killed in different firing and violent incidents since last night to this hour in different areas of the mega-metropolis city here, Geo News reported.
Police said that the body of a person was found beneath the Banaras Bridge, who was shot dead. Ajmal Khan was gunned down in Metroville area. Another person’s body was found from Sarrafa Bazaar at Mithadar, he was also shot dead.Earlier in a firing incident at FC Area in Liaquatabad, one person was killed and five were injured including the murdered Intelligence Bureau Officer Qamar Raza’s son Asad Raza, who later succumbed to his injuries.
Yesterday’s firing and violence incidents in the city had claimed twenty dead including one police officer and one regional office bearer of Ahl-e-Sunnat Al-Jamaat.
