Behar CM Nitish Kumar visits Mohenjodaro


LARKANA: Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister of Indian state of Bihar on Sunday visited historical site of Mohenjodaro and said it was not confined to the culture of Sindh instead the site was a part of a great civilization, Geo News reported.
The visiting dignitary, who was accompanied by a delegation, took keen interest in the 5,000-year old civilization. He said that Mohenjodaro civilization was stretched from Sindu Stream to Ganga Stream.
He was also briefed about the historical, cultural and civil significance of the site. “We have been hearing and reading about the 5000 year old Mohenjodaro civilization,” he said and added that kind of civilization also existed in Bihar province.
Moreover, Mr Nitish also visited the family graveyard of Bhuttos in Garhi Khuda Bux and laid floral wreath on the grave of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
