Karachi violence: Death toll rises to five


KARACHI: The death toll from violence related incidents has risen to five on Monday in the metropolis.
Dr. Nisar was shot outside a clinic in Lee Market located in the Lyari area of Karachi. Two people injured during firing in Malir succumbed to their injuries.
Two people were killed in the early hours of Monday morning in the Orangi Town and Manghopir areas of the city.
Meanwhile, at least fifteen suspects including members of a banned outfit were arrested as Rangers conducted search operations across the city. Weapons were also recovered from several suspects.
The wave of violence continues unabated in the city and has claimed at least 37 lives since Saturday.
