MQM begins preparation to hold public referendum


KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has kicked off preparations to hold public referendum which would ask Pakistanis to decide whether they want Quaid e Azam’s Pakistan or Taliban’s Pakistan.
An important meeting in this regard was held on Friday night in Khursheed Begum Secretariat, Azizabad, where Deputy Convener of MQM’s coordination committee Ahmed Qaimkhani and Dr Nusrat among members of the committee, Haq Parast representatives and others were present.
The meeting discussed various proposals put forth by the members for holding the public referendum titled “Quaid e Azam’s Pakistan or Taliban’s Pakistan?”. The meeting finalized a roadmap for the preparation of the referendum.
